Peter Domagala
Peter Domagala, Licensed Physical Therapist, President

Peter was educated in Poland and moved to America in 1995.  He specializes in manual therapy, sports therapy, TMJ, spinal disorders and also performs Vestibular and Balance rehabilitation. He has completed over 900 postgraduate hours in lectures, demonstrations and practical training. Peter added the Graston Technique® to his specialties in 2009 and Vertigo/Balance problems in 2012. Since 2014 Peter has been mastering Strain Counterstrain, an advanced manual therapy technique to effectively and non-surgically treat all kind of neuro, muscular and joints conditions. 

Before opening PDR Physical Therapy & Wellness Center Peter worked in various hospitals and orthopedic practices. He created an environment at PDR which combines the best qualities of the different places he has worked and he treats his patients with a personal and holistic approach. Peter enjoys his family, meeting new people and learning about other cultures. He speaks Polish, Russian, English, and some Spanish.

In 2016 Peter lost 30 pounds using the Ideal Protein protocol and then PDR began to offer this effective weight loss method at PDR Physical Therapy & Wellness Center.

Eva Krecisz, Licensed Physical Therapist, Vice President

Eva received her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation at the Academy of Physical Education in Krakow, Poland. She graduated in 1995, moved to America and has been practicing since then.  Eva joined P D R Physical Therapy & Wellness Center in 2006.
Eva gained a tremendous amount of experience with knee and hip problems while working for years in a nursing home environment. Eva is a certified LSVT® BIG! provider and leads our team that specializes in this ground breaking treatment for patients with Parkinson’s disease.

She completed Lymphedema training at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and provides Lymphedema treatment in both offices. Eva has also taken courses in Kinesio Taping, Strain Counterstrain and foot problem and is an integral part of our Work Hardening and Work Conditioning programs.

Eva is married to Peter and they have two children. She enjoys learning about other cultures and religions, and decorating and redecorating her house.

Daniela Bighirel, Director of Business Operations

Daniela has a Bachelor of Science of Engineering degree and is a Certified Billing Specialist. She has been a Certified Professional Biller for 16 years. Daniela has worked as a Medical Billing Manager for 13 years in family practice, chiropractic, and physical therapy practices. She’s been a member of AAPC since 2010.

Daniela is married and has one daughter who graduated from Purdue University and is working at Mondelez International and Tanner, her golden retriever. She enjoys outdoor activities, ice skating, music, reading, and cooking. Daniela is a very family oriented person and loves animals. She likes to study all the time to learn new things and to keep herself informed. Daniela is devoted to her job and loves working with people helping them to understand the billing and insurance process.

Laura Wodka, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Laura graduated from Oakton Community College and received her Associates Degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant program. She has been working as a PTA for the past 3 years.

Laura is an Ideal Protein weight loss coach and leads exercise groups. She recently completed a Tai Chi course and is starting a group exercise course in our Mount Prospect location which will incorporate stretching, strengthening and some Tai Chi. Laura is also a certified LSVT® BIG clinician and has experience working with Parkinson’s patients. She also has a massage certificate from Solex College.

Laura is married, has a son and two dog children. She likes walking the dogs, fishing and gardening.

Małgosia Jez, Licensed Massage Therapist and Rehab Aide

Małgosia studied to be a baker when she was living in Poland. She studied Massage Therapy at the American Academy of Massage Therapy in Chicago and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Małgosia has been working as a massage therapist since 2009.

Małgosia enjoys being active and outdoors. She likes walking and running. Małgosia is married and has two sons. Cooking and baking are two of her hobbies.

Joan Detzner, Office Manager

Joan is married to Phil and they have 4 almost grown children. She loves computers and electronic gadgets and enjoys swimming and reading. For the past few years Joan has been actively involved in community theater and has been in many musicals; most recently My Fair Lady, Wizard of Oz, The Music Man, Oklahoma and Mary Poppins.

After losing 68 pounds on Ideal Protein Joan has been assisting others in their weight loss journey with IP Seminars and coaching.

Agnes Zielinski, Rehab Aide

Agnes received her Master’s degree in Education from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. After teaching for many years, Agnes has been working with children to correct their posture and has a passion for helping kids grow strong and healthy!

Agnes loves spending time with children, her own and those she works with. She also enjoys reading, painting and listening to music. Since she loves to be outdoors, nature, gardening and animals are also some of her favorite things.

Marta Czachor, Massage Therapist and Rehab Aide

Marta studied at the School of Holistic Massage and Reflexology in Downers Grove, IL and has been a massage therapist since 2013. She is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Marta is married to Jerry and has two children, Luke and Maggie. She enjoys traveling around the world with her family and reading books. Marta is also very active and loves exercising.

Martyna Panek, Front Desk and Rehab Aide

Martyna is currently studying Biology at Dominican University. Her future educational goals include graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and receiving a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited graduate school. Martyna is also a volunteer at the Oak Park Conservatory, where she is constantly learning new things about plants and gardening.

Martyna enjoys watching drama movies and TV series, hiking, snowboarding, working out, trying new foods, baking, and spending time outdoors. Martyna lives with her parents, two younger siblings, and two dogs.

Agnieszka Skaza, Marketing and Front Desk

Agnieszka has a high school diploma and CNA certification. She has worked as a CNA and PRA in the past. Marketing is a new career for her.

Agnieszka is married to Henryk and has three children, Ania, Jessica and Mateusz. She loves reading and traveling with her family.

Aneta Tatkowska, Front Desk and Rehab Aide

Aneta is studying Biochemistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She graduated from Rolling Meadows High School.

Aneta lives with her parents and four sisters. She likes the Harry Potter books and movies, music and sports. Aneta likes road trips and is planning one around Lake Michigan this year with friends.
